Delayd: Schedule Messages to Send in the Future App Reviews

Good Idea Just Not Fully There

It can schedule you a text but honestly when using this you probably dont want the person to know you are using this. Whoever you send the text to cannot reply directly to the text. They have to reply to you through a direct thread. This basically tells the person that you didnt actually remember to text them. You just scheduled it.

Puerto Rico #s wont work.

This app doesnt work with phone numbers from Puerto Rico, if you dont know PR is US territory, and people leaving in the mainland still communicate with people in the Island.

Unrecognize number

I bought this apps it was almost perfect everything is there you can put automatically greet good morning every day but the only problem or issue is it will send your message automatic to your close friends or lovers but it will shows different number so your friend or uour lover will wonder who is that person keep sending a greeting like Good morning or i love you.. They will never find out unless you tell them that was you.. My number is Ny example is 917 123 456 then the number showed in my friends phone was 201-456-789.. Please change this issue make it specific number even i registered my number i thought my number will pop out but i was very very disappointed

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. INSTANT SPAM

Within 24 hours of downloading the app, I started receiving spam text.

Works ok

It wouldnt let me choose a contact from my contacts, had to type the number in manually.

Very Unhelpful

1. Sends text from a random number so until opened friends dont know who sent them a text 2. Doesnt use iMessage 3. Friends cant reply directly to the message

Great Potential!

I absolutely have been looking for an app that provides this schedule text messaging feature for a long time. A lot of apps say they have it but it turns into a whole different thing that you dont need. This company uses their own servers to make sure the messages are sent. Of course, I really hope they are able to find a way around Apples guidelines so that people can respond directly to the messages we send through the app. Otherwise it works well and does what you need it to do... Send a scheduled message. I reached out to Customer Service to provide feedback and ask questions and they immediately responded. They were very patient and helpful. I highly recommend this app if for no other reason then they have big things ahead of them to offer us.

Fantastic!

Amazing way to communicate

Great for spamming friends

Some troll decided to schedule a text for me at 5:30 on the dot every day, thanks delayd for being more annoying than ever.

Recipients cant reply directly.

Just got it. Pretty intuitive BUT sms recipients cant simply "Reply" - they are informed that theyll need to go to their regular texting app to send you a reply.

Garbage

Couldnt even add a contact to send to - kind of important in a text app.

Extremely useful app

Use it all the time to remind my kids to do their homework!

So close

Its great, but the character limit is far too short. I often remember business texts that I need to send when Im thinking through everything at night and need to communicate things in the morning that take long than 145 characters.

Good at first

I rely on this app to remind me to take my medicine. It was working well at first, but then I ran out of credits and the messages stopped sending. The messages should send regardless of how many credits you have

Delayd

There is no option to go back and review the text you sent once its been sent

Sell what you offer

$3.99 for 500 delayed sms is whats offered. Go to purchase, $3.99 gets you 250, double whats offered. Makes one wonder how safe this is. If they cant get that right, what else?

Sends texts from random number

This app sends texts from random numbers and costs credits to send messages.

Teachers have A LOT to Say.

I love the scheduling aspect of this app. I teach fifth grade and have a family of five. Sometimes when I am working it is very late at night or early in the morning and I dont want to forget to text a brainstorm lesson plan to my colleagues, or message to my principal or parents. One thing that needs to change in my opinion, and I think it will due to the demand, is the limitation of characters. Teachers have A LOT to say and explain. It is frustrating when we are cut off in the middle of an explanation or when giving directions. I would send through email, but I know my last principal had 2,000 emails on his phone he still had to go through and always told us texting was best to reach him. This is the case with many of my colleagues too. Teachers get a lot of junk emails/coupons we must sort through. Delayd is an app on my iPhone I do using frequently so I give it 3 stars with a "Needs Improvement" on the limitation of characters.

realtor

I cant paste text and I cant send an imessage so this program does not help me.

Whats up with the signature?

It works well, although, there is an odd dash with signature field for every message sent. Strange that there has to be a dash after the message for a signature. Setup did not allow be to proceed without a name. Then the test text I sent myself had that signature. After removing the name, there is a dash after every message sent -
